У статті проаналізовано проблему гендерних стереотипів з позицій соціокультурної, еволюційної, соціально-когнітивної перспектив. На прикладі стереотипів вибору партнерів і уявлень про жіночу креативність показано зв'язок біологічних і культурних чинників у формуванні стереотипів. Сформульовані завдання психологічного супроводу при подоланні гендерних стереотипів.
