The process of industrialization of Semipalatinsk in the context of periodical press coverage (1925-1940)

На материалах газет и журналов «Прииртышская правда», «Знамя труда», «Наше хозяйство» и «Степная правда» авторы изучили особенности строительства новых промышленных предприятий и транспортных коммуникаций в годы первых пятилеток в Семипалатинске. Значительное внимание уделяется строительству в городе Семипалатинск мясоконсервного комбината, который был одним из крупнейших предприятий пищевой промышленности страны. Авторами выявлена роль местных газет в освещении политики партийно-советских органов в процессе развития промышленности региона. On the materials of the newspapers and magazines "Priirtyshskaya Pravda", "Znamyatruda", "Nashekhozyaistvo" and "Stepnayapravda" the authors have studied the specifics of the construction of new industrial enterprises and transport communications during the first five-year periods in Semipalatinsk. Considerable attention is paid to the construction in Semipalatinsk city of meat cannery, which was one of the largest enterprises of the food industry of the country. The authors have revealed the role of local newspapers in covering the policy of party and Soviet bodies in the development of industry in the region.
