Phenylketonuria in Jews

I am writing to you regarding the article "Phenylketonuria in Yemenite Jews" by B. E. Cohen et al., Pediatrics, 32:1069, 1963 (December). In the introduction it is stated, apparently by mistake, that only two Jewish patients with phenylketonuria have been previously reported. I would like to draw your attention to the fact that we have reported in your journal (Pediatrics, 26:885, 1960) four cases of phenylketonuria occurring in a Jewish family from Iraq. The neurologic and psychologic findings in this family have also been published.
