Vsevolod Yurievich (Big Nest) in 1169—1183: From Dmitrok to the Vladimir Prince

The article is devoted to the period 1169—1183 in the biography of the Vladimir prince Vsevolod Yuryevich (1154—1212). This prince lost his father early and spent his childhood until 1169 in Byzantium. Therefore, the period of its political formation fell on 1169—1183. During this time, he rose from a “second-rank” prince to the ruler of North-Eastern Rus'. The conditions and events in which Vsevolod’s personal political experience took place are presented in the article. Particular attention is paid to identifying the individual political behavior of Prince Vsevolod Yuryevich. According to the author, it was due to the peculiarities of the prince’s biography in 1157—1169.
