O Beethoven de Max Klinger

O museu de Artes Plásticas de Leipzig dedicou uma sala inteira ao pintor e escultor Max Klinger. Nela, algumas de suas mais importantes obras foram reunidas. No meio da sala estava a monumental escultura de Beethoven, feita por Klinger. Para esta sala, concebi uma programação em três partes: “Palavra-Imagem-Som: obras-chave de Max Klinger à luz da música congenial”. A ideia era: “A cada noite, diante de um original de Klinger, soava um quarteto de cordas, o que desafia o trabalho visual e é desafiado por ele. A música ajuda a ver, a obra a ouvir. Palavras introdutórias e comentários relacionam imagem e música entre si, de tal modo que a experiência sinestésica entra em sintonia com elas”. Na primeira noite, em 21 de novembro de 2018, o Quarteto-Grieg, de Leipzig, tocou, diante do Beethoven de Klinger, o op. 127 de Beethoven para Quarteto de Cordas.
