Current status of food safety assurance conditions at restaurants in Lao Cai city, Lao Cai province in 2021

Objective: Research with the objective of describing the current status of food safety conditions at banks in Lao Cai city, Lao Cai province in the period from 7/2021 to 7/2022. Methods: The study used a cross-sectional descriptive method, a quantitative study with the observation of food safety conditions of all 85 operating restaurants, the practice of 85 CBC staff, testing fast 255 bowls, clean plates. Data were analyzed using SPSS 19.0 software. Result: The percentage of establishments meeting the general food safety conditions is 37.6%. In which, the group of conditions for facilities reached the highest rate with 57.6%, the group of administrative procedures reached 56.5%, the group of conditions for equipment and tools reached 52.9%, the group of conditions for equipment and tools reached 52.9%. human condition reached the lowest rate of 51.8%. Conclusion: The results show that the percentage of establishments meeting general food safety conditions is still very low. Therefore, the regulatory agencies carry out close inspection with the banks; strengthen irregular inspection when there are signs of violations or during peak periods; strictly and thoroughly handle violations, post information of violating organizations and individuals on the mass media to warn and deter.
