Modernization of the backhoe loader bucket with stiffeners

One of the most popular machines used in construction is a single-bucket excavator-loader. The efficiency and reliability of its operation are ensured by proper operation and timely repair. At the same time, there is a decrease in the productivity of EO 2626 excavator-loaders due to failures of the main units and mechanisms. In particular, during operation, the front bucket of the excavator loader experiences significant cyclic loads. To ensure reliable and long-term operation of the excavator loader, the bucket must have appropriate strength properties. An attempt was made to improve the strength properties of the structure by strengthening the stiffeners. The results of calculating the fatigue strength of the modernized and original design of the front bucket using a software package are presented, their theoretical resource is determined, and a comparative analysis of the obtained parameter values is made.
