Masłosz Parka Vitellaria paradoxa jest rośliną, która należy do rodziny sączyńcowatych Sapotaceae i występuje w Afryce Subsaharyjskiej. Wykazuje wiele zastosowań, a najbardziej popularna jest ze względu na tłuszcz otrzymywany z owoców. Nazywasię go masłem shea i wykorzystuje m.in. jako surowiec kosmetyczny. Dzięki obecności licznych substancji biologicznie czynnych masło shea ma szereg dobroczynnych właściwości. Wpływa korzystnie na skórę oraz jej przydatki, działając przede wszystkim nawilżająco, ochronnie, przeciwzapalnie i antyoksydacyjnie.
