Corrigenda

Twenty-five words were inadvertently omitted from the article by J.H. Burns, 'Nicol Burne: "plane disputation bayth at libertie and in presone'. The sentence which begins on the foot of p.104 should read: In Bernard Aspinwall's review of Out of the Ghetto? The Catholic Community in Modern Scotland, the rather startling statement on p.159 concerning the inter-war period that 'If Catholic divorce rates are lower than registry marriages, they still approach 40 per cent of all annual divorces.' is an editorial creation. The figure should be 14 per cent. Apologies again are extended to the author, and to any historians or bishops provoked to panic by this mistake.
