This monograph is a collection of studies on shaping the sense of security at airports. In the presented empirical considerations, the authors of individual chapters focused on the assessment of the selected ones state security services and selected airport services in the opinion of the public, to issues focused on ensuring safety and hygienic working and travel conditions in the airport terminal in the era of coronavirus, to the presentation of the New Experience in Travel and Technologies (NEXTT) initiative, including advanced technologies and implemented, with their use, organizational and functional changes of service processes at the airport. Other important areas of security, which are presented in this scientific study, are issues related to security threats generated by the dynamic development of technology in the field of unmanned aerial systems. The future of passenger drones remains temporarily uncertain. ICAO explicitly assumes that in the near future it will not be possible to transport passengers as part of commercial services. However, it is not excluded in the future. The psychological barrier associated with the fear of unmanned flights is not an easy challenge.
