Reliability Monitoring and Modeling Based on Weibull Distribution
View through CrossRef
Nowadays, Component reliability is a big issue confronted by MRO organizations. However, very few MRO organizations have a proper priority on the reliability analysis with respect to cost-effectiveness. A reliability-monitoring model is created in the paper, which helps to analyze component reliability in a cost-effective way. The objective of the thesis is to develop a reliability analysis model based upon the cost-effectiveness in the repair and operation process, which enable MRO organizations to have a clear overall view on the reliability information on PN (Part Number) level. The reliability analysis will be based on Weibull distribution rather than the conventional exponential distribution. The flexibility and robustness of Weibull distribution can provide reliability information with a dynamic failure rate, which can bring a profound impact in MRO industries and lead to a new era of reliability-centered maintenance
Title: Reliability Monitoring and Modeling Based on Weibull Distribution
Description:
The flexibility and robustness of Weibull distribution can provide reliability information with a dynamic failure rate, which can bring a profound impact in MRO industries and lead to a new era of reliability-centered maintenance.
