Europa w kryzysie: pandemia, klimat i ekologia miasta – to tematy trzeciej odsłony istniejącej od 2018 roku idei ekologii integralnej wyrażonej teologicznym creatio continua. To platforma międzynarodowych, pluralistycznych i ekumenicznych spotkań, dyskusji i wymiany poglądów organizowanych we współpracy Uniwersytetu Papieskiego Jana Pawła II w Krakowie i Światowego Ruchu Katolików na Rzecz Środowiska z Warszawy w formie konferencji-seminarium, ostatnio – z powodu ograniczeń pandemii – prowadzonych w trybie on-line. Sytuacja światowa określiła obszar tematyczny konferencji i podyktowała problemy zapisane w kilku rozdziałach tego tomu, który można określić jako powstały w odpowiedzi na kryzys ekologiczny i powiązany z nim kryzys epidemiczny spowodowany w latach 2020–2022 pandemią COVID-19.
