Southern Peas, Cowpea Curculio Control, Turner Co., 1978

View through CrossRef
Abstract Southern peas were planted Jul 15. Plots were 18-rows, 1200-ft long, 3-ft row width, replicated 2x. Plots were treated beginning with anthesis on Sep 6, 9, 13 and 16 using a Meyers Mity Mist airblast sprayer at the rate of 10 gal water per acre. When mature on Sep 19, 25 pods in each of 20 sampling acres/plot were harvested and examined for cowpea curculio and European corn borer feeding damage.
