View through Europeana Collections
Bowl made of glass, with golden mounting and a lid of gold. Lower part of glass body encased by a network of golden threads, and supported by three hollow legs curved outwards. On the upper part of the lid is the same golden network as on the lower body. The lid is crowned by a glass knob, which is decorated on the top with a small golden rosette. Two rows of joined together chains are hanging above each other from the lid. Where the links are joined together, small blue stones are affixed.
