The purpose of this note is to provide a list of the type material of the suborder Heteroptera deposited in the Museo Entomológico Francisco Luís Gallego (MEFLG) of the Universidad Nacional de Colombia in Medellín, Colombia. The MEFLG was created in 1937 and is one of the largest insect collections in Colombia, containing about 200,000 specimens, and is the most complete collection of the northeastern region of the country.
