This paper aims to explore the causes of supply chain management disruptions in the manufacturing sector. Supply chain disruptions have become a major concern for companies globally, posing significant risks to business operations, costs, earnings, and customer satisfaction. This review examines various factors contributing to these disruptions, including natural disasters, raw material unavailability, regulatory changes, technology breakdowns, labor shortages, transportation issues, and political instability.
