HOP AND MEDICINAL PLANTS - YEAR XX

„The Hop and Medicinal Plants” magazine, which appeared (from 1993)under the authority of Hop and Medicinal Plants Crop Research Center fromUSAMV Cluj-Napoca, in co-collaboration with Faculty of Pharmacy Cluj-Napoca,Hop Cultivators Association and Units Plafar from Cluj and Braşov, entered in the20th year of existence. In the editorial „At the beginning of way”, from the firstnumber of the magazine (year I, no. 1, p. 5-7), we show that publication – „isdesignated for the use of agronomical, pharmaceutical and biological specialistsfrom the field of production and research, of students and scholars who preparethemselves in these branches of economy, the ones who desire to be informed aboutthe hop practice and beer industry, all those who, directly or indirectly, contributeat production and economical use of medicinal and aromatically plants”. In thestructure of magazine we included „solutions that regard the modernization of hopand medicinal and aromatically plants culture and use technologies from Romania,new technical problems regarding economical and pharmaceutical use of plantswith therapeutically effect from spontaneous flora”... „useful aspects for those whowork in research, production and economical use of hop and medicinal andaromatically plants system”. Being in the 20th years from its foundation, ourmagazine kept this mission and structure and improve year after year the quality ofpublished papers and their way of presentation.
