Can you hear me? Om pianofortellinger som samkunstlig forskningsformidling

This article is about research dissemination – popular science research dissemination – where I offer a self-study of my own experiences of research dissemination in different ways and to different target groups. My reflections on mixed methods and arts-based research form the methodological backdrop for this article, and the theoretical perspective is the concept “co-arts.” With a narrative and explorative approach, in text, sound and video, I reflect on the development of what I refer to as “piano stories,” and further how these can be understood as “co-artistic research dissemination.” Piano stories are research-based narratives performed together with piano. Co-artistic research dissemination is understood as dissemination of research using different kinds of arts in interaction, and in my specific context I use the modalities of text and music. My own experiences with piano stories as a location for political influence are presented through four textual narratives and three piano stories in video format. The article caters to those interested in research dissemination, arts, and education.
