The Per Persson family let themselves photograph before emigrating to North America on 10 June 1883. Per Persson was of Finnish birth, as were most people who still live and live in Flåjöbygden. Katarina and Per were married on 7 April 1861. Per Persson is at this time at the age of soon 45 years and his wife Katarina Johansdotter from Torp, Västernorrland will turn 46 in December. The Eldest Child Karin is 21 years old, Per is about to turn 20 in December, Johannes is 17 years old, Marta turns 15 in September, Lisa Magdalena has to fill 12 years old in a few days, Engla Katrina is 9, Nils Olof is 7 years old, Lydia Maria is 5 years old, Karl Axel turns 3 in August and Naemi Justina is 2 months and 11 days old.
