Bangle, Veiled Rays (Au Inclusion 2), acrylic and gold, designed and made by David Watkins, England, 2007. Circular bangle of matt blue acrylic with a circlet of gold within. There are two layers of acrylic which are held apart at the centre and meet at the edges, both with a cut out linear pattern. On one face the lines radiate from the centre, on the other they run parallel. The interplay of the lines gives an interesting visual effect. Acrylic and gold.
