View through Europeana Collections
Thomas Earl Erdödy (1558 - 17. 1. 1624) a Croatian Base in 1584-1595 and again in the period 1609-1614. Painting technique reveals that miniature (non-high levels) probably originated only in 1. half of 19. century, according to the graphic model. She could have been e.g. copperplate engraving by Mathias van Somer in Orteli’s work “Türkische und Ungarische Chronica” published in Nuremberg r. 1663, which presents the same iconographic type.
