AbstractThe cyclic silyl phosphites (III), prepared from the phosphites (I) and hexamethyldisilazane (II), react with iodoacetone (IV) in the presence of scavengers of trimethylsilyl halides such as propylene oxide to give the acetonylphosphonates (V), together with the propenyl phosphates (VI).
