Development of Seoul Design Industry Ecosystem Model

When local governments establish promotion policies, it is important to create an industrial ecosystem model. However, in the design industry, industrial ecosystem modeling is insufficient. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to develop a Seoul-type design industry ecosystem model. As for the method of the study, first, a theoretical background study of ecosystem model creation was conducted. Second, the components of the design industry ecosystem were established, and an ecosystem model was created according to a hierarchical model. Third, the 'Seoul-type design industry ecosystem model' was developed based on the relationship-oriented model, including the Seoul city policy organization as a catalyst. The significance of this study is that a model that visualizes the governance of Seoul's design industry policy was developed, and a design industry ecosystem model was developed by reflecting the seven industries of Seoul as regional characteristics.
