Portrait photography Ms. Zuber (1)

View through Europeana Collections
Black and white photography, inside, photo studio, 1946 Chest piece, lying, quarter profile on the left - A young attractive woman, taken in the middle to the end of twenty, lying sideways from right to left. The right arm lies sideways upwards. Set up the right elbow, it supports the head, in the height of the ear, in the area of the right hand. From this perspective, she looks directly into the camera, her large, bright eyes left to look, the full lips are slightly open. She has something enigmatic. Ms. Zuber wears a dark, neck closed top. The front part has a burn-like insert, surrounded by a small white, gluttonous border, on the right there are a number of dark cloth related buttons. She wears the half-long, undulating, blond hair on the left. On the right the curls fall over the hand and cover them in part as well as the forearm. The high forehead is free. On the right wrist a piece of a silver bracelet shines out. The bright, harmoniously cut face is contrasted by the very narrow, drawn eyebrows and the heavily red painted lips. A dark curtain can be seen in the background. The area on which the portrait lies is covered with a bright fabric. Ch. K.
