A RELAÇÃO ENTRE A HIPEREXTENSÃO DA COLUNA VERTEBRAL E A RESISTÊNCIA ABDOMINAL EM BAILARINAS DE JAZZ

O objetivo desse estudo foi conhecer a relação entre a hiperextensibilidade em extensão da coluna vertebral e a resistência abdominal, através de um estudo descritivo e de caráter quantitativo, realizado em uma turma de Jazz, composta por 10 bailarinas maiores de 18 anos, a qual a coluna vertebral das mesmas é estimulada de forma intensa no movimento de extensão. Para isso, foi realizado um teste de extensibilidade de extensão da coluna, o qual consiste em mensurar o comprimento da coluna e um teste de resistência abdominal, durante o período de 60 segundos. Foi possível verificar que as bailarinas da amostra apresentaram hiperextensibilidade muito acentuada da coluna vertebral, e uma resistência abdominal de médio a fraco, ou seja, um desequilíbrio entre mobilidade e resistência de tronco.
