Stage costume for Mechanical bird for Rossignol

Theatrical costume for the character of the mechanical bird in Rossignol by Igor Stravinsky, play directed by Luciana Novaro in 1968, Lyric Opera of Chicago. Costume of fantastic inspiration that identifies the figure of a mechanical bird. Concept and design of the costume are by Emanuele Luzzati, author of many opera productions in the history of international entertainment. Luzzati, scenographer and costume designer, has experimented with new techniques with great originality, has enhanced the material and made the colour the protagonist of the scene. The costume was worn by the singer Larry Long. \Details: gauze and gauze cloths in gold lurex, united and operated, united and operated painted cotton cloths; wattles and crest in felt: Lele Luzzati Act II.
