Urneformig dosa av guld, 1700-talets början (1716 c?).

A screwable lid with a vaulted middle part, a cartusch in relief against the punched bottom, an edge girth with six inches and six inches, inside the c-shaped ornaments, and leaf bundles with impending tassels, in the middle a conical button with thirteen-bladed inflorescence at the bottom, together with a bow stone, smooth grounding of gold. Life straight, followed by engraved text, filled with blue enamel: “Erb Printz Zu Hessen Cassel Blessiert in Norwegen d. Feb 25 Ao 1716,” and mirror monogram F under princely crown [Fredrik (I)]. The lower part of the bowl, decorated on the outside with an eggshell towards the bottom of the punched. Slightly arched foot with a smooth edge, inside punctured field with leaf stone decor around the shaft. Short, smooth shaft with three rings. The urn lined with pale red velvet. In the dose, strongly weathered remains of a lead ball and label with ink printing are kept: “inv.1675.”
