More social participation is regarded as one of the potential benefits of digitalisation. What are the opportunities offered by digitalisation and what are the risks of social groups being marginalised? What responsibilities do welfare organisations, social services, politics and administrative bodies have in this respect? In this book, the authors address political, technical and ethical questions. They reveal which structures lead to increased social participation and examine how these structures are organised for, among others, families, young people, people with disabilities, people with immigrant backgrounds and the unemployed.
