LIGHT HOLDER, a couple. In the form of a couple of lying elephants. Light brown with darker streaks, ears and saddle cover in blue and gold. The light holder trumpeted, white with pointed leaves in blue and gold. These candlesticks were made for export to the European and American markets. They have a traditional form that is often found in Buddhist sculptures and architectural ceramics.
