Technologically Based Market Research in Printed Circuits

Of all the market surveys prepared on the printed circuit industry, one of the most comprehensive is that reported in the October issue of the Journal and carried out on behalf of the Institute of Printed Circuits by Gnostic Concepts Inc. Since market surveys are currently in vogue, it was considered topical to invite a specialist company operating in this field to outline their particular approach in the preparation of such a document. In this article Mr. J. D. Montgomery, Vice‐President of Gnostic Concepts, has outlined the approach taken by his company in compiling the survey made on behalf of the Institute of Printed Circuits.
