Yury Georgievich Puzachenko (1940–2018) Biographo-Semantical Analysis

This issue of the journal is dedicated to Yuri Georgievich Puzachenko, an outstanding ecologist and geographer. In the presented message, we tried to trace the stages of Yuri Georgievich’s scientific path and highlight the key areas of his scientific interest: the organization and functioning of complex self-organizing non-equilibrium systems – biogeocenoses and landscapes, various aspects of biodiversity, relationships between species and environment. The research presented in the articles in this issue is devoted to these three directions.
