London Police Station architects, when contest for enlarging Sydney Cathedral._x000D_ Mr Roger A P Pinckney, F R I B A, and and his partner Mr A F E Gott, whose office in Gray's Inn Square, London, have won a contest for a design for enlarging St Andrews Cathedral, Sydney, Australia._x000D_ Until now they have been successful planners of police stations and country houses._x000D_ This is their first big success of the kind, and is described by Mr Gott as 'a shot in the dark which came off'.
