The Dream Leftist Voivodship

Abstract Drawing on the tradition of the Law and Literature movement, this chapter presents a fictional narrative centered on a group of residents in the West Pomerania (Zachodniopomorskie) voivodship after the constitutional reforms proposed in this book. Through the perspectives of the protagonists, a group of residents in the voivodship, the chapter chronicles the rise of a socially and economically left-leaning regional government, which vigorously implements ambitious reforms in progressive taxation, public services, and infrastructure. Additionally, the story highlights the government’s efforts to bolster the influence of labor unions within the regional economy, capturing the tensions and transformations that accompany these bold changes.
