Naringenin, a flavanone commonly found in citrus fruits, has been intensively investigated in recent years due to its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and metabolic regulatory effects. In this section reviews the structural properties, natural resources, pharmacokinetic properties, biological effects of naringenin based on current literature. Research results suggest that naringenin has therapeutic potential in various conditions, including cardiovascular diseases, obesity, diabetes, liver diseases, and neurodegenerative disorders.
