В статье обсуждается значимость использования когнитивных стратегий в процессе обучения чтению текстов на иностранном языке с профессиональной направленностью. Авторы предполагают, что применение этих стратегий может значительно улучшить результаты обучения чтению у студентов неязыковых вузов. Для подтверждения этой гипотезы было проведено исследование, целью которого стало выявление когнитивных стратегий, используемых обучающимися.
