Economics of oil and gas companies

The first section of the textbook describes and examines the current state and development features of the Russian oil and gas complex (NGC).
The second section is devoted to economic issues in NGK. Attention is paid to such production factors as the natural and labor resources of NGK enterprises, their fixed and working capital. The central place in the section is given to methods of accounting for production costs and calculating its cost in various areas of NGK production, including in the production of petroleum products. The pricing policy is considered in detail, the main features and problems of pricing in the oil and gas complex, the specifics of exchange pricing, and issues of state regulation of prices for NGK products are disclosed. When considering the tax policy, all recent changes related to the taxation of NGK companies are taken into account. The modern understanding of investment policy issues, progressive methods of investment assessment, planning procedures, as well as approaches to assessing the economic and financial performance of oil and gas companies are described.
