Oil painting depicting Reverend Mogens Strunge, who was a parish priest at Tårnby Church 1927-1962. The pastor is painted from the front wearing a priest dress with three orders on his chest. The work has belonged to the family and was performed by Count Preben Knuth in 1941 in Tårnby Cemetery. About Mogens Strunge (from the Blue Book 1957): provst, R.M.T.Kha. p.p; b. 29/1 1892 at Rosengaarden in Toustrup near Skanderborg; son of farm owner, parishioner Rasmus Strunge (died 1901) and wife, cookbook author Mariane f. Sørensen (died 1928); married (15/7 1923) with dentist Elise Magdalene S. (decorated with M.T.Kha.), f. in Tystrup near Sorø, daughter of farm owner, cattle farmer N C Olsen (died 1941) and wife Sofie Amalie f. Sørensen (died 1933). Student (Viborg) 1911; cand.
