View through Europeana Collections
A pair of identical copies from the same postcard, including a print from a painting by the Hungarian artist Kéméndy Jený (1825-1860), a portrait of Sara Amanu (1885). One of the postcards was printed in brown-sepia shades, while the other was printed in black and white. Both postcards are divided postcards. Apparently, these postcards were produced at the end of the first decade of the twentieth century. On the back of the postcards was printed the trademark of "Lebanon" Publishing. These postcards were not used and were removed from the collection of "Lebanon" postcards donated to the National Library in 1939 by the publisher's editor-in-chief, Mr. Benjamin Mintz, Warsaw.
