Viaje, hallazgos y fortuna de dos viajeros europeos del siglo XVII en Irán: García de Silva y Pietro del Valle

A comienzos del siglo XVII, dos de los más interesantes viajeros europeos a Oriente, el español García de Silva y Figueroa y el italiano Pietro della Valle, coincidieron en la corte del š?h ‘Abb?s el Grande de Irán. Ambos tenían un singular interés por los monumentos y las ruinas, y los dos visitaron las más interesantes del país, como Persépolis. Both had a very interest in the monuments and ruins, and the two visited the most interesting ruins of the country, as Persepolis.
