Localization and structure of hematite quartzite deposits of the Southern iron ore district of the Kryvyi Rih basin.

Изложены результаты изучения геологической позиции, размеров, неоднородности строения залежей гематитовых кварцитов, которыми сложена кора выветривания четвертого, пятого и шестого железистых горизонтов саксаганской свиты Скелеватского и Валявкинского месторождений Южного железорудного района Кривбасса. Рассмотрены особенности ее вертикальной и горизонтальной минералогической зональности, проявлений эпигенетических гипергенных процессов маршаллитизации, окварцевания, рудогенеза. Показано, что следствием полигенности образования коры выветривания является большое количество рядовых минеральных разновидностей гематитового сырья. Для организации эффективной его добычи и переработки рекомендована методика компоновки рядовых разновидностей руд в укрупненные, объединенные и генеральные.
