Do feminino da "Queste del Saint Graal" e na "Demanda do Santo Graal"

The different versions of the narrative that tells the quest forthe Grail by Galaaz, the chosen knight, namely the text that belongs tothe Pseudo-Boron cycle − Demanda do Santo Graal− and the Queste del Saint GraalVulgata, thatscholars claimto have origin in a primitive Queste, present identical narrative moments in which the differences between versions seem to followthe ideological project of each writing. In this context, we seek to analyze the role of the female characters in the initial part of the Queste del Saint GraalVulgata and the Portuguese Demanda do Santo Graal, in an attempt to clarify, on the one hand, the role played by these characters and,on the other, to assess the greater or lesser proximity of each of the versions to the primitive Queste.
