Narrow neck; moulding at junction between neck and body; flattened handle from neck to shoulder; ovoid body; moulded ring base. Pinkish clay; black glaze, partly misfired to red; added white. Tongues on neck; handle panel reserved; on body opposite handle a female figure standing in front of an altar, holding a dish in her left hand and a cluster of grapes in her right; dotted rosettes as filling ornaments; jewels, flame on altar, details on dish and on filling ornaments and leaves of cluster marked with white paint (much gone); the scene is framed by tendrils and a stylised flower on both sides; on both sides of handle a dotted circle; below handle a palmette; reserved band above base; bottom reserved.
