Tryggve – Nordic collaboration for sensitive data

Tryggve is an international collaboration for developing and supporting the use of secure services for sensitive data. Ongoing project stage, Tryggve2, runs 2017-20 with total volume of 51 person years distributed to Nordic countries. The project is funded by Nordic e-Infrastructure Collaboration (NeIC) and ELIXIR nodes of Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. The challenge the project wants to solve is to prevent non-authorized use of human data while utilizing it for the benefit of society. This leads to Tryggve’s vision to develop secure services that enable large-scale biomedical research studies across countries.
