Design of a Software-Defined Artillery System Architecture
View through CrossRef
Abstract
The rapid development of software-defined technology aligns closely with future trends in artillery system architectures. This paper analyzes these trends and the technical requirements for future artillery development, proposing a software-defined artillery system architecture to meet the need for flexibility and rapid advancement. The proposed architecture features a layered design, standardized interfaces, generalized hardware, software-defined functions, and resource virtualization. By employing a service-oriented software architecture, this system facilitates dynamic adjustment and expansion of artillery functions, thereby shortening the equipment development cycle and improving system flexibility and scalability. Consequently, this architecture can significantly enhance the operational effectiveness and adaptability of artillery systems in complex battlefield environments.
