حكم تعلُّم التجويد بين الوجوب والندب

This research addressed an important topic related to reading the Holy Quran with Tajweed, whether it is obligatory or recommended, and it has been discussed by those interested in the past and present, and hence this research paper will attempt to study this topic through the following :Definition of Tajweed and its purpose, the ruling on learning Tajweed of the Holy Quran, the schools of thought of the imams in the verdict on Tajweed, evidence of those who say that reading with Tajweed is obligatory, and those who say otherwise, the opinions of contemporary scholars in the ruling on reading the Quran with Tajweed. The most prominent objectives of this research were: clarifying the ruling on learning Tajweed of the Holy Quran, mentioning the schools of thought of the imams in the verdict on Tajweed, and identifying the evidence of those who say that reading with Tajweed is obligatory or not. The methods used in preparing this research were descriptive and historical, as they are appropriate for a study like this. The research reached several results, the most prominent of which are: that learning Tajweed is a means of training the tongue to pronounce classical Arabic, and responding to those who say that reading with Tajweed is not obligatory, to the fact that the transmitted evidence used by those who say it is obligatory is not explicit in indicating the statement of obligation.
