Through his show Persona: Marilyn, the Polish director Krystian Lupa is exploring Monroe's psyche during her last days before death. Nowadays, Marilyn Monroe has become a myth built by rumors and legends floating among her personas. Lupa's work is asking several questions: How to represent such a mythological figure? Who was the "real" Norma Jean? Persona: Marilyn is not only where Monroe's soul is explored but also the human's soul itself.
