Letter to Serge Lebovici
View through CrossRef
In this letter, Winnicott comments on Lebovici’s presentation, saying he would like to have heard more about his idea of the pre-object and how far it corresponds with his own concept of a subjectively conceived rather than an objectively perceived object. He notes that it ties in with his theory of the parent-infant relationship, and he is particularly interested in Lebovici’s attention to absolute dependence.
