Footnotes: Axel Rosin is the son of Arthur Rosin. The object file also names "Ksthdlg. Resch Gauting" in the provenance after Axel Rosin. Purchased with funds donated to Busch-Reisinger Museum by Paule Cadville-Teves specifically for that purpose thus considered a gift. Harvard Art Museums/Busch-Reisinger Museum Gift in memory of Ernst A. Teves Harvard College Class of 1936 for his courage demonstrated during the years of Nazi dictatorship in Germany
