Brick Stamp of L. Lurius Proculus

View through Harvard Museums
Orbicular stamp, broken away at the lower left. The text runs in a single curve around the outside, enclosing a central blank circle. The text reads, without points or separations between words, L[...]IPROCVLI ("(brick) of L. Lurius Proculus"). This is presumably the L. Lurius Proculus known from seven other stamp-types on bricks found within and around Rome, in contexts that point to a Domitianic date for these stamps.
