This paper is a description of the flocking process for roll goods and three-dimensional objects. Both mechanical and electrostatic flocking processes are explained and common flocking substrates, adhesives, and fibers arc evaluated. The paper also includes a description of how flocking fibers are manufactured including dyeing, finishing, and drying.
